Our Marriage Registration Photos

Our marriage registration date was on 27 March 1997. Before that we had to fill in the marriage "application" forms. We obtained these forms from Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara, Campbell Branch. We went there on 21 March 1997. Before that, they would asked whether you want the "normal" or "express" forms. We took the "express" forms as our wedding date in KL was set on 13 April 1997. The difference between these two is that, the put up time of the "normal" is one month while the other is for one week only. After filling up the "application", they put it up on the notice board for any rejection, if any. Since we were not particular about the date, they chose 27 March 1997 for us for our " Official Signing Ceremony! " 

On that day, my Mother In-Law to be was  my witness and Cindy's Aunty 3 was hers. Questions would be asked like "Have you been married before? & Blah, Blah, Blah."  The next was the "swearing in ceremony". Then we signed the marriage certificate and followed by the witnesses. The exchange of ring is next if you brought any and luckily we came prepared with the rings and also the camera. The whole process lasted about 40 minutes. After one week, our 'certificates' were ready for collection. I mean 'certificates' because it turn out to be two. One in blue and the other in pink colour. I guess the blue is for me and the pink is for my wife.
